Weddings

At The Circle Celebrancy, I will work with you to imagine the wedding ceremony you wish for, and then bring it to life so that you have the perfect day. The thoughts you have will become a reality.

Wedding packages are adaptable to suit your wishes and needs. I can offer a range of ceremonies; anything from traditional to themed. Special elements such as hand fasting ceremonies, unity sand celebrations and broom jumping ceremonies can also be catered for. If you would like to discuss any alternative elements, please get in touch.

What is Included

  • An in depth meeting with you to find out what you would like for your ceremony.

  • A first draft of your script, followed by any adjustments you would like to make until it is just what you hoped for.

  • Suggestions for readings, poems, music.

  • Help with writing your vows

  • Inclusion of music and readings by family or friends

  • I will conduct your ceremony at your chosen Wedding Venue. 

  • I can help you source local traders who may be of interest to you for your wedding planning

  • Provision of a sound system for the wedding ceremony if required.

  • You will receive a keepsake copy of your Ceremony script and a Wedding Certificate

Cost

The basic cost for a wedding ceremony is £450.

A deposit of £100 is required when we have agreed to proceed, and a contract will be sent to you.

Additional elements may incur charges however, please do not hesitate to contact me to arrange something within your budget.

The Circle Celebrancy is based in Modbury in the South Hams of Devon. I am happy to travel to other areas however, please note that mileage costs will apply beyond a 25 mile radius. ​

The Legal Bit

Sadly, your celebrant led ceremony is not legally binding.

​

If you wish to be legally partnered, you will need to arrange for a marriage or civil ceremony at your local registry office at a small cost.

Covid-19 Restrictions

There are no longer any restrictions on number of guests at weddings.
